“Million Dollar Mutt” benefits Pets Unlimited

Pets

District 2 Supervisor Mark Farrell and “Million Dollar Mutt” Kyoto were on hand at Pets Unlimited in Pacific Heights on Thursday, Feb. 16, to help Pet Food Express co-owner Michael Levy present a $25,000 check to Pets Unlimited executive director Sally Wortman, matching the $25,000 Pets Unlimited raised at the end of 2011 through the My Mutt program.

Since its inception a decade ago, My Mutt has raised over a million dollars, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to help animal shelters, rescue groups and nonprofits. Pet parents who make a donation in support of their favorite organization receive a professional photo shoot for their pet and their pet’s poster hangs at a Pet Food Express store for up to one year. If you would like to help My Mutt raise the next million dollars, or for more information about the program, please call 510-924-3300 or visit www.petfoodexpress.com for details.
