Get your art on this month with a variety of art fairs across the city. Start with the Spring Open Studios (April 21–22) at Hunter’s Point Shipyard and Islais Creek Studios, where over 100 artists from the largest artists’ community in the country will open their studios to highlight work in a variety of media.

Next up, check out the Art Market at Fort Mason (April 26–29) sharing the weekend with the Startup Art Fair (April 27–29) at the Hotel del Sol in Cow Hollow. The Art Market will feature contemporary and modern art from more than 80 galleries worldwide. For an intimate and creative venue with a gallery feel, the Startup Art Fair will open hotel rooms for each participating artist.

For a different take on art and design, visit If So, What? (April 27–29) at the Palace of Fine Arts, which will celebrate art, design, music, and innovation along with speakers and panel discussions. See our calendar for details.
