The bunnies are coming to Pets Unlimited

April 9 – Pet First Aid & CPR Training: You’ll receive training on how to recognize an emergency for your pet, what to do if an animal is hit by a car, and other ways you can help and avoid getting hurt. $50 includes training book and an SF/SPCA certificate. April 16 – Community Service Saturday: If you are 11–18 years old, join us behind the scenes at our animal shelter to help care for SF / SPCA animals, learn more about responsible pet guardianship, and experience the satisfaction that comes from helping others. Community Service Saturdays include assisting employees with feeding the animals, cleaning their habitats, and other daily duties at the shelter. This opportunity fulfills school community or club service requirements. 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

April 22–24 – Big Bunny’s Spring Fling: A three-day eggstravaganza featuring all things bunny related. From puppet shows to sing-alongs, special rabbit talks and more, this is a family-fun event over the Easter holiday weekend.

April 25–29 – Spring Zoo Camp: Ready to send your kids out for some spring break fun? Zoo Camp gives kids pre-K through 6th grade a chance to discover and learn about the active lives of animals in the springtime. It’s a busy time of year as they build nests, find food, and care for their babies. Camp combines zoo tours with animal-themed crafts, games, and up-close animal encounters to teach about wildlife. Preregistration required.

Join Alan Hopkins for a guided hike exploring the park and its native inhabitants. The two-hour walks are typically moderate in difficulty and about three miles in length.
