Lousy prognosticating

John Zipperer ("Living on Lies," July 2011) wrote in his article that a Hamilton College study showed columnist Cal Thomas to be the least accurate of more than two dozen columnists studied. He then went on to write, "Here's a good reason not to like being on the receiving end of lies and disinformation," obviously referring to Thomas. However, the study Zipperer cites had to do with the accuracy of columnists' predictions. That's all. Thomas may be a lousy prognosticator, but he wasn't lying. I suppose Zipperer also hates being on the "receiving end of lies and misinformation" when the weather report is inaccurate.
