Recreation and Open Space Element available for public review on June 8

In May 2009, the S.F. Planning Department released the first draft of an updated Recreation and Open Space Element a component of the City's general plan that provides a 20-year vision for the acquisition and use of public open space in San Francisco. The Recreation and Open Space Element was last updated in 1986. The planning department received numerous public and agency comments and have incorporated changes into a new, revised draft document. A public open house will be held for the release of the revised plan: Public Open House June 8, 2011, 5:00–7:00 p.m. Planning Department 1650 Mission St., Room 431
