Emerald Across the Bay 12K

Starts at East Fort Baker, Sausalito

Certified 12K (7.45 Miles) course from East Fort Baker, across the Golden Gate Bridge west sidewalk, along Marina Boulevard, through Upper Fort Mason to Aquatic Park. For safety reasons, no dogs or wheels allowed on the course or on the shuttle buses. “A Celebration of Running” will be held at Aquatic Park after the race with refreshments, live music, and awards ceremony.

Golden Gate Bridge Sidewalk Closure

West Sidewalk and Battery East Trail

The West Sidewalk of the Golden Gate Bridge and portions of the Battery East Trail (primarily east of the toll plaza) will be closed until approximately April 1 (weather depending). Bicycles will have access to the East Sidewalk 24/7 during the closure. For updates, visit
