Slow Streets comes to the Presidio

The movement to remove vehicles from streets expanded to The Presidio in June, the latest development in an effort to give people safe places for exercise and other outdoor activities in this time of social distancing (News Briefs, June 2020, Marina Times). Initially running from June 8–30, various streets in the park were closed either partially or entirely to traffic.

Slow Streets in the Presidio has been extended through July or to the end of the emergency orders. Visit presidio.gov/slow-streets for details on the program.
