Downpayment payment

In mid-March, Mayor London Breed announced that the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development would release a new round of funds to help first-time home buyers make downpayments. The Downpayment Assistance Loan Program (DALP) will benefit up to 80 households out of its $27 million in available funding. The program offers up to $375,000 in assistance to low- and moderate-income homebuyers purchasing a market-rate residence in the city. To be eligible, applicants need to attend 10 hours of homebuyer education and be preapproved from a lender accepted by DALP. Interested applicants can find more information at
