Bina Venkataraman is the director of global policy initiatives at the Broad Institute of
MIT and Harvard, and a lecturer in MIT’s program of science, technology, and society. She previously served as senior advisor for climate change innovation in the Obama White House, and is a former journalist for The New York Times and The Boston Globe.
