The values of Kwanzaa, Nguzo Saba (The Seven Principles), are critical tools for addressing the issues facing the African-American community. Opening day begins at the Museum of the Africa Diaspora (noon) with a day of blues and its history in the Bay Area. The celebration includes 15 free celebrations in seven neighborhoods.
