Perseids Meteor Shower

August 11th-13th, 2018

Sat.–Mon., Aug. 11–13, late evening–dawn

Northern night sky

With an early-setting slender waxing crescent moon, the sky will be great for watching the Perseid meteor shower, considered one of the best showers each year, and producing about 60 meteors per hour. Find a dark, secluded place and look toward the Perseus constellation. earthsky.org
