A suspicious package found on Beach Street closed down the block between Fillmore and Webster Streets for about an hour on the morning
of June 21.
Police received a report of an unidentified package at 8:54 a.m., according to police spokesman Officer Albie Esparaza. Officers who responded to the scene found that the package in question contained only clothes, and the street was reopened around 10 a.m.
