Police in ongoing search for bank robbery suspects

San Francisco Police robbery inspectors are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying suspects wanted in connection with a series of local bank robberies, including one in the Marina District.

On April 30, 2012 at approximately 11:30 a.m., a bank on the 300 block of Clay Street was robbed. The suspect in that robbery is a white male, be-tween 40–50 years of age, approximately 5 foot 10 inches in height, and weighing
160–170 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a large brimmed sun hat and a black hooded sweatshirt. He is believed to be responsible for several San Francisco bank robberies as well as a bank robbery at the Bon Air Shopping Center in Greenbrae (Marin County) on May 14, 2012 at approximately 5:50 p.m. The suspect typically presents a demand note; however, in one incident he brandished a handgun.

A second man assisted this suspect in a robbery that occurred May 12, 2012 at 3:15 p.m. at the Wells Fargo branch on Chestnut Street near Fillmore. This second suspect is described as a white male, 45–50 years of age, 5 foot 5 inches in height, and weighing approximately 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a hood-ed sweatshirt and dark colored jacket. He is missing three fingers from his right hand and two fingers from his left hand.
